Wish Granted
Had to be at work at 5:30am, only to be sent home around 9:00. I had about eight inches of snow to clear off the car when I left. I did a complete 360. I think we're around 14" now. (Taken with my phone)

Orthodoxy
"The real trouble with this world of ours is not that it is an unreasonable world, nor even that it is a reasonable one. The commonest kind of trouble is that it is nearly reasonable, but not quite. Life is not an illogicality; yet it is a trap for logicians. It looks just a little more mathematical and regular than it is; its exactitude is obvious, but its inexactitude is hidden; its wildness lies in wait."

Froth
When the sea pours out under the bridgeOver the dam at every outgoing of the tide
There is ravishing serendipity of froth.
I stand on a hundred-year-old millstone.
Froth gathers on the turbulence of the waters
Abundant, fresh, puffed up. For hundreds of feet
Small cliffs, bluffs, towers form and seethe
From the turbulent center outward gliding,
Improbably as heaven, like a child's view of heaven.
How could anything so frail seem so permanent,
How could anything so sheer evade destruction,
These are things of imagination floating slowly away,
A white suds against blue water, white over blue,
A too much of nothing strangely become everything,
Froth dominating the presence of the world,
Cliffs, bluffs, towers, and castles passing by.
It is good that everything has turned to froth,
Magical froth of truths going out to sea,
While I stand on the millstone solid and gray
I hear the airy shapes whispering infinity.

We had a lot of fun with this shoot. Who wouldn't want to practice in a Pennsylvania corn field? Thanks to a ridiculously long extension cord, we actually did practice in the corn field.
